…Othello not only for giving the promotion to Cassio but also because Othello is a black man have high rank. Iago was not evil for the sake of being evil. His evil was driven from jealousy and greed that he couldn't control. If asked to recommend this play to others I would with no hesitation. With this being only a play you actually learn about a lot of cultural matters like racism, love, and violence.
