Chien-Shiung Wu was a world renown scientist. Though she had many accomplishments throughout her lifetime, she is best known for her participation in an experiment that discovered that parity is not conserved. Though she had many achievements, she couldn’t have done anything without her education.
Chien-Shiung Wu was born in Liu-ho, China, on May 29,1912. Her father, Wu Zong-yee, believed that woman had as much of a right to a good education as men did,

Though she is no longer able to astonish the world with her discoveries, the knowledge she has shared with us has enabled society to carry on. Chien-Shiung Wu was obviously devoted to her profession. She put her life on the line for science. Her
accomplishments surpass those of the ordinary and she will truly be missed by everyone.
