If you have ever read John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men I highly recommend reading it a second time. The first time you read this Steinbeck grabs and pulls you into the story with his extensive use of and very complete descriptions of both people and places. George doesn’t want to see this happen although he knows he can’t stop it. George decides and does shoot Lennie himself.
