The Causes of the War
OK, in a nutshell, World War I’s cause went as far back as the early 1800s. People controlled by other nations began to evolve people’s feelings of nationalism. The French Revolution of 1789 brought a new feeling to the word Nationalism. Refugees moved from place to place in search of food and shelter. After the war, people who went back to their homes went to find that their villages, towns and/or cities didn’t exist. Fortunately, the US supplied food and clothing to an extent.
