Just like Shelly’s “Ozymadias” reminded us that we are fallible and the Whitman’s “Oh, Captain, My Captain” touched our nation in mourning. These poems can invoke human emotions. I know one thing, every time I think of death that had been associated with injustice; I will always remember Lewis Allen’s “Strange Fruit”.
