Gangsta was a more self-preservative of getting a much-needed message across; this form scared a lot of the general populous ,these artist felt the needed no validation of how they lived and if you had a problem either do something about it or leave it alone . I think some people had problems with the language used because they were not grasping the total message of the songs.
