For example with a film such as Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, they targeted it at an audience of lovers of the Gangster film genre. Although it was the first British gangster movie for a while, and it was the first film that Guy Ritchie had done, they were obviously going to attract people who were interested in that certain genre.
