What Fits is an extremely personal and candid hypertext novella authored by Adrienne Eisen. The novella is an intimate account of a period of hard times in a young woman’s life. As the main characters’ struggles with life, careers, and relationships are laid out the audience gets a better feel for some of the characters’ less than traditional ways of thinking and living. Through the characters’ sexuality Eisen has given the audience more of a feel for the character and an explanation for her actions. Eisen gave her character such a nontraditional sexuality to get the audiences attention. She was trying to show that her problems with sexuality can explain some of her problems in life. Her problems with intimacy are a nice example.
