Change is seen as the ability to make or become different. The philosopher Heraclites once stated that "There is nothing permanent except change". This shows that everything is constantly changing, and supports the notion that change is inevitable. Through understanding and analyzing all of these notions of change, it can be concluded that change is inevitable, and is something we must come to accept. An unknown scholar once said that "If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies." This further emphasizes change's importance in society, in that without change, some things are just not possible.
