of the enemy countries might invade the US. Lastly those people who lived in complete fear during the war, I think, are even more affected by it than people who may have been in the war because those people new that they were going to die and/or that there were going to be many deaths, so it didn't come as much of a shock to those people even though the tragedy was the same.
