entire world, the world the reader is exposed to is completely thrown into chaos. Victor answers to this destroyed world by dying. He simply abandons the world, which he threw, into bedlam. As a God figure, Victor Frankenstein proved to be an abandoning, superficial, uncaring, unholy being. If this was Mary Shelly’s intent when writing Frankenstein then at least there is one frightening element to it; God hates the world that he has created.
