Underage drinking
Underage drinking has been a major problem for many years. “In 1996, approximately 9.5 million youths ranging from 12 to 20 years of age were drinkers.” (“Combating Underage Drinking”) The U.S. government and local communities across the country have made serious strides towards stopping underage drinking. But youths continue to find ways to get their hands on alcohol. Underage drinking, and the consequences associated with it, is a result of minimum age drinking laws being ineffective.

Underage drinking in the United States has become a major problem. Underage drinking, and the consequences associated with it, is a result of minimum age drinking laws being ineffective. Teenagers need to be more responsible and not drink until they turn 21. My only advice I have for teenagers who choice to drink, is to drink responsibly.
