Ultimate Frisbee
The simple game of passing a Frisbee was actually derived from the Frisbie Pie Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut when students from Yale threw their empty pie plates into the air yelling “Frisbie.” 30 years later that small and meaningless occurrence ended up to be the foundation for a toy that was flung like a UFO.
