The legitimacy of Megan's Law is a heated debate that is current in our society today. This law forces all sex offenders to make themselves known to their neighborhoods. Perhaps as a nation, the citizens will choose to keep sex offenders records confidential, but for those of us that want to protect the children, there is no question at all. Once a person is a sex offender, they are forever a risk to the communities. Let the information be known to protect the future. If this law prevents just one case of child molestation it has proved its worth.
