Due to the many arguments stated in Lessing's book we are forced to notice that the impact of groups on our society will never change. However social change is possible it happens slowly and a little too slowly to notice or to help. Although humans will always strive to achieve their own identity they are always set back into a group mindset and pushed right back where they started from.
