It is perhaps unrealistic to expect a language so far removed from prevailing expectations to have any credibility, and it is difficult to use that language to create solidarity and establish equality. Perhaps a middle of the road approach is best, where compromises are made and new language is slowly added until it is inextricably intertwined with and redefines the oppressive language of society.
