First, R wanted to keep the true track, being unaware which version is "the most right". Second, the Editor wanted to preserve the originally unique style of writing and specific meaning, characteristic to each author. This approach is not unique for the Ten Commandments: we also can see a triplet when Abraham call his wife a sister: Gen 26:1-11; Gen 20:1-18; Gen 12:10-20
