The styles of writing by both the Romantics and the Enlightenment writers are both very good and accepted styles. The Romantics style though became more popular and survived through the ages. This was because of its open style with feeling. Poetry was a major part of their success. It allowed them to express their thoughts with life and emotion. Without the Romantics writing would never be as full of life as it is today.
