Also the military mistakes had kept Rome weak and vulnerable for the attacks from the barbarians, which was another cause of the fall of Rome. All together each problem that Rome faces it leads to another event or problem and so on. So it was impossible for the Romans Empire to last because of economic troubles, barbarian invasions, and military mistakes.
