During the later Mogollon period, after A.D. 900-1000, changes were seen mostly in the style of houses. Surface pueblos were the main housing type. The size of villages increased. An increase in items used for ritual worship also increased. Another feature of late Mogollon culture was the influence from the Anasazi culture.
