The purpose of this paper is to show moral of the play Everyman. The play begins with Death being sent down by God to take Everyman back to give an account or reckoning of his life. I am glad hearted indeed to know that my salvation lies not in my giving a reckoning of my good deeds, but rather on the knowledge that I have accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior from the pits of hell.
