This film was made in 1962. Most see it today as a political comedy, but was a mind boggle in its day for the outrageous military strategy of so called brainwashing. The Manchurian Candidate keeps you glued to the screen as the film smoothly tells a story.

By the end of the film we find that Harvey’s controller is someone close to him. He is confused by the brainwashing, and does not know what is going on. He looks as if he is a machine working for an unknown force. He is dead to the world and believes no one.
