the end Laura came out of her shell when the unicorn broke. It was like she hid behind all her figurines in a glass shield and Jim broke that glass shield when he told her how great she was and kissed her. After reading the play for a second time, I still believe the movie version is better because the stage directions are acted out and u don’t have to get confused by them.
