There are many factors that contributed to the beginning of World War I. World War I was now officially started. The causes range from monetary issues to people just having big egos. The main cause was the alliances nations formed to help protect themselves, which only brought them into war anyway. A lot of the other causes were just minor things that people made a bigger deal over than was needed.
