Gerald Stern, from the time he had accepted the case, in my opinion, was out for establishing justice. The Buffalo Creek Disaster left hundreds of people to suffer without homes, belongings, jobs, family, and friends. By the fault of the mining company, these people’s rights were violated. …showed last 75 words of 1039 total…the victims did nothing to ensure their survival and the mining company was wrong, they chose to ignore that fact. Another thing that was impressed with was how captivating a book on a court case could be. I didn’t think I’d actually have the patience to read the whole thing through, maybe skim it. I did however enjoy it, and plan to read more books concerning court cases in the future for pleasure.
