the fact that the American public agrees that terrorism is a problem that needs to be addressed. Regardless of the intent or causes of terrorism, it is an unacceptable form of behavior that, if left unchecked, will continue to plague the world. Terrorism will never cease to exist, however, through careful examination of historical events and people, policy makers may be able to reach educated decisions regarding terrorism and limit the scope of future attacks.
