There would be the Varsouviana rising up in the background, as Williams’ stage directions suggest, also showing Blanche’s insanity. The mood of this whole scene would be very gloomy and depressing, but there it would be lighter on Blanche than the others characters showing the slight hope that I have seen in the end.
