Stranger Than Paradise This movie could be considered a complete waste of time for many people. The movie is in black and white. This affects the surroundings in the movie. New York, Cleveland, and Florida look dark and dreary. This inhibits the characters, in their emotions. Throughout the movie there is a lot of silence, and tension between Eva and Willie. Eddie thinking that Willie and Eva have left goes back to New York. I believe that the separation of Willie and Eddie is good. Willie needed a change; his life seemed to be in limbo. Eva is alone once again, but this doesn’t bother me because I believe she is better this way.
