For us, to be able to understand the short story “Soldier’s Home” must learn a little of Ernest Hemingway’s’ background. lost his memory and his perseverance for life. He kill him self at the age of sixty-two. At the story, Krebs realizes that he has to move on and get a life. However, I think that the psychological impacts that the war caused him will not let him to move on as a normal person. The soldier may be home, but he is not the boy who went away, he is a different human being.
