must be said to have been proud of his race and proud of humankind. The fact that his vision exceeded that of the rest of his country men should not be reason to judge him harshly. Rather, his fellow Americans should be judged harshly and he should be celebrated as a great American visionary in the spirit of Jefferson and Lincoln and the Roosevelt's and Reagan.
