we are accepting a life with Christ. We are reborn with Christ. When we act out many of our sacraments we are being “saved”. We do not have to be “saved” literally because when we accept Christ and His teachings into our lives, we are asking God to be a part with us. For people of different religions it is different, but through Catholicism we learn that through our sacraments we are united with God.
