Revolutions of Russia in 1917

The revolutionary events in Russia in 1917 stemmed from a number of causes but the primary one was the tyranny of the Tsar. The unfair and cruel use of power by the Tsar to satisfy himself and furthermore ignore the needs and the demands of the Russian people in particularly the peasants and the workers would later become the downfall of his autocracy. For almost 20 years they had become increasingly aware that Nicholas would not use his power to better facilitate the needs and demands of the Russian people but instead would use it to reinforce his position no matter what it cost the people. In the end, it was this cruel and unjustly use of power by the Tsar that became the fundamental cause of the revolution, even though other events triggered the final action.
