There are many ways to go about gathering information for research. Two different yet effective ways to gather this information is through the experimental method and the survey method. Both methods can provide extremely accurate results. The Experimental method allows the researcher to have great control over how the experiment is given. It is usually much more accurate than the mean, median, or mode. The higher the standard deviation, the more spread out the distribution will be.
