why America needed to be united. “United we stand, divided we fall.” This quote is the true essence of the situation that faced America at that time. If the states decided to remain separated then the country would have fallen into ruin, but since the idea of one government, one nation united was adopted, the United States was born and the dangers of becoming a non-United States were never even given a chance to arise.
