Not only that, but is it enough or too much, to satisfy the descendants of dead victims who are in their own mental slavery? Or to those cases where there are survivors still alive? In seeking reparations, our aim should not be to aggravate old wounds but taking on the responsibility of healing them, even if we did or didn’t directly cause them.
