Religions vs. Philosophies; similarities, differences and importance

…living, and something to be leading towards. Some religions and philosophies go through "holy wars," which is a way to try and get others to convert to your religion. Some religions are very similar to others, which have branched off using many of the same beliefs, but with differences. Without a belief in something, one would not have a reason to live, a way to live by, or any structure in their life at all.
