them because the pay was to low. Many ethnic groups faced prejudices and hatred from the Americans for being a different race or color. As the enormous need for labor grow due to the industrial growth ethnic diversity became a factor of the working class. Many immigrants gave their blood, sweat and tears to help build the United States of America, but the white people gave few of them appreciation for what they had accomplice.
