Its a story about choices, it has morals, you cannot go back in time and view something that hasn’t really happened. The point is to contemplate before you act. Victor could have made better choices, he shouldn’t have tried to create life. The time traveler thought that the man was stupid because they were not accual events in history, it was just a legend.
