Labeling someone as a pessimist is not something to be taken lightly, you cannot just call someone a pessimist because of one instance. However, with Frank’s many examples of being impossible to deal with, having a gloomy outlook of everything, and having lack of faith in almost every situation, he can clearly be considered a pessimist.
