bring Othello down. Iago fills his own head and others around him with ideas of prejudice of how bad it is that Othello is a Moor, and that he is with white Desdemona. This character trait of Iago motivates him to do and say things to ruin Othello’s life. In the end all of the lies Iago says comes back to him making people think of him as untrustworthy thus leading to his downfall.
