The irony is that these perfect examples may have been altered to achieve an impossible ideal. This can be seen in the portrayal of women as impossibly thin and beautiful.
As we can see, manipulation of images is censorship of the truth and in manipulating these images they also manipulate people's beliefs and judgments.
