Moral Dilemmas Faced by characters in Friels 'Translations'

…this is evident in most plays, what's unique is how such dilemmas have been used to raise the political issues Friel needed to express through his characters. Be it the poverty, or the wanting of migration, such issues would have been common and relational to the nucleus of Irish society, helping the play reach and relate to the moral dilemmas being suffered by the real people themselves of Ireland and maybe elsewhere across the globe.
