in the lab that we did with the elodea leaf. When we added salt the cell shrank away from the cell wall, but when we put regular what back in then the cell returned back to regular size again. Figure one illustrates what it looks like before plasmolysis takes place. The next couple pictures shows what happens to the cell with salt added.
