like just so they can fit in. The author is one of these people, since she changes her body according to the society she is currently in, but she fails to acknowledge it and she fails to acknowledge the other part of society who aren’t affected by the media. Therefore I think the author and other people like her shouldn’t blame the media itself, but blame themselves for letting the media control them.
