In today’s society the contemporary media is always quick to stereotype culture. In almost ever case, all movies depict how a certain group of people act in the world. I find that most of the time; the movies are very inaccurate.
While thinking of examples of how the media does this I am quickly reminded of the movie A Walk to Remember. In this movie the contemporary media depicts how a Christian teenager acts

the movies is by stereotyping a certain race. In movies today the color of your skin decides what type of role you will play. I think this is extremely degrading and offensive to people of certain race groups. Just because someone from a race group has done something it doesn’t mean all members of that race are the exact same way. I pray that things will change and people would stop being so judgmental.
