Yes, what we do won't cure faults and sins, but what God does has already cured the problem. Jesus came to earth and died as a sacrifice so that we might be forgiven and then he rose from death to share eternity with his followers.
God doesn't do this for perfect people, those without faults and sins, God does this for you and me.
