On almost every occasion he uses humour and sarcasm adding to the already playful nature of the poem which I think supports my argument of him not being completed alienated from women. So, as a conclusion to my argument that Marvell is not a misogynist from the reasons that I have provided above. Marvell is simply entertaining us with his witty, humourous and sarcastic remarks which are not meant to be taken seriously.
