…lot of pain and confusion. What also is recognised from Twelfth Night is how readily people are to love. It is as if everyone yearns to be loved or more importantly to be able to give love. I think this is still true of people today. The couples which have found love are all initially attracted by different things,so it is easy to see why feelings get confused and love is not always returned.
