Jack established himself as a leader on the island because no one else had what it took to be a powerful leader. He shared characteristics with supreme dictators, such as Hitler. Both individuals were overly concerned about who and what people were doing around them.
Hitler and Jack’s paranoia was credited to both of their downfalls.
