…showed last 75 words of 580 total…sad life and was in need of mental care. Psychological care was not offered in those
days and wasn't even being studied yet, so if there was a mental illness she wouldn't have been able to
receive help. I do think that her neighbors in the area in which she lived should've been more attentive
and checked on her to help. "A Rose for Emily", was a good story and I enjoyed reading it.
